Is it really February already?! Seriously, where does the time go??

With the new year comes new changes, experiences, and a fresh start!

I feel like I have been MIA for the last few weeks/months on my Facebook business page and blog. Although a little break was needed, I have still been busy preparing for lots of changes and improvements to introduce in 2013!

Here are a few exciting things happening this year:

*We are patiently awaiting the arrival of our sweet little bundle in March!!!

*Courtney Pennington Photography will be getting a TOTAL make-over thanks to the amazing Laynie and Belle!

**Brand-spanking-new branding, products, pricing, packaging, schedule and much more!

**These changes will take place Spring 2013 so make sure to book ahead to lock in my current pricing!

Meanwhile, I just wanted to give you a little look into what I have been up to in my absence.

This Christmas was quite special for me. I got to spend it with BOTH of my parents, for the first time in 21 years! Those of you with divorced parents will totally understand my excitement! It was awesome to be able to share that with my daughter. One for the memory book for sure : )

Also this year my dad gave the ultimate gift of taking my fiancé John and myself to Ireland and London with him! We left the day after Christmas for a week that was nothing short of amazing! I got to see my grandmothers resting place in the small town she grew up in, explored Dublin, and met some great people. To top it off we rang in the New Year in the heart of London!

We were away from our little one for the first time and I really wanted to soak it all up so I really didn’t take out my “big” camera very much on the trip. Thank goodness for iPads and Instagram! : )

With some construction going on at our house since fall, and the final touches taking place over the last few weeks as we make room for our new little one… we decided to take a little last minute family trip to Florida in January! This pregnancy has been so easy and I have been taking full advantage of my energy while I still have it! While we were down there, we took a short trip to Savannah, GA to check out the beautiful sites, and history! On our way out of town we stopped at Tybee Island and then Jekyle Island, I highly recommend stopping in if you are ever down that way. So much to see in a short amount of time, we are excited to go back after we settle in as a family of 4! : )

Back at home now we have been relaxing, playing catch up and enjoying the snow filled days. It is going to be a quiet February and I am looking forward to it.

I hope 2013 is all that you hoped for so far! I look forward to seeing so many of my returning clients and new clients when I return from my maternity leave!
